Vom 5. bis 7. Juni richtet sich der Blick der internationalen Basketballszene nach Treviso. Beim adidas Eurocamp treffen die besten Nachwuchsspieler darunter aus Europa, den USA, Lateinamerika, Afrika und Australien aufeinander. Das Camp zählt zu den renommiertesten Scouting- und Entwicklungsveranstaltungen weltweit und bringt jährlich Scouts, Trainer, Agenten sowie Entscheidungsträger aus NBA und EuroLeague zusammen. Unter den rund 70 ausgewählten Top-Talenten aus aller Welt befinden sich in diesem Jahr gleich vier Spieler aus dem Uuulmer Basketball-Programm: Mohamed Diakite, Meissa Faye, Teo Milicic und Endurance Aiyamenkhue. Allein diese Zahl unterstreicht die starke Nachwuchsarbeit in Ulm und deren internationale Wahrnehmung. Für die jungen Talente ist die Einladung nach Treviso nicht nur eine Auszeichnung für ihre bisherige Entwicklung, sondern auch eine einmalige Chance, sich auf höchstem Niveau mit den besten Spielern ihres Jahrgangs zu messen und vor den Augen zahlreicher Scouts zu präsentieren. Das diesjährige Eurocamp wird von Coaching Director Bill Bayno und Scouting Director Gianluca Pascucci geleitet. Zum hochkarätigen Trainerstab gehören unter anderem die NBA-Coaches Dave Joerger und Rex Kalamian (Milwaukee Bucks), Phil Handy (Dallas Mavericks), Bryan Gates (Philadelphia 76ers) sowie Ross McMains (Boston Celtics). Als Mentor für das Team Next Gen kehrt zudem der ehemalige türkische Nationalspieler Dogus Balbay nach Treviso zurück. Für zusätzliche Strahlkraft sorgen die Special Guests Franz Wagner (Orlando Magic) sowie die Eurocamp-Alumni Bogdan Bogdanovic (Los Angeles Clippers) und VJ Edgecombe (Philadelphia 76ers). Sie werden den Teilnehmern Einblicke in ihren persönlichen Weg in die NBA geben und ihre Erfahrungen mit der nächsten Generation internationaler Top-Talente teilen. Für die teilnehmenden Spieler im Alter von 16 bis 22 Jahren bietet sich damit eine einzigartige Gelegenheit: Unter Anleitung renommierter Coaches und ehemaliger Profis können sie wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln und wichtige Kontakte knüpfen. Ratiopharm Ulm Talente im Fokus der NBA - Vier Spieler bei Eurocamp
From June 5 to 7, the international basketball scene will focus on Treviso. At the adidas Eurocamp, the best young players from Europe, the US, Latin America, Africa, and Australia will meet. The camp is one of the most prestigious scouting and development events worldwide and brings together scouts, coaches, agents, and decision-makers from the NBA and EuroLeague every year. Among the approximately 70 selected top talents from around the world, four players from the Ratiopharm Ulm program will participate: Mohamed Diakite, Meissa Faye, Teo Milicic, and Endurance Aiyamenkhue. This number alone highlights the strong youth work in Ulm and its international recognition. For the young talents, the invitation to Treviso is not only an award for their previous development but also a unique opportunity to compete at the highest level with the best players of their age group and present themselves to numerous scouts.
